KISHWAUKEE RIDERS MAKES DONATION
THE KISHWAUKEE RIDERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB, BASED IN ROCKTON, ILLINOIS, HAS OFFERED TO DONATE $ 500.00 TO THE DISTRICT 17 ENDURO AWARD FUND FOR THE 2005 SEASON. THE DONATION WILL ALLOW ENDURO DIRECTOR JEFF FREDETTE TO PURCHASE 12 MORE AWARD JACKETS FOR 2005.
THE KISHWAUKEE MEMBERS HAVE PROMOTED AND SUPPORTED OFF ROAD EVENTS IN ILINOIS AND WISCONSIN FOR MANY YEARS. THE CLUB CEASED ACTIVE OPREATIONS IN 2000 DUE TO LOSS OF LANDS, LOSS OF MEMBERS, HIGH INSURANCE COST AND HIGH SANCTION FEES. AS A WAY TO “GIVE BACK” TO THE RIDERES THAT HAVE SUPPORTED THE KISHWAUKEE EVENTS OVER THE YEARS, THE DONATION WAS MADE TO THE DISTRICT 17 CLUB COUNCIL. THE CLUB MEMBERS MAY MAKE THE DONATION A YEARLY GRANT.
THE KISHWAUKEE MEMBERS HAVE ALSO MADE A DONATION TO THE JACKSON COUNTY TRAIL RIDERS TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR THEIR HARD WORK TO REOPEN THE TRAILS OF JACKSON COUNTY LOCATED IN WI (CLOSE TO BLACK RIVER FALLS). THE DONATION WILL BE USED TO PRINT NEW TRAIL MAPS.
