Who is planning to make the trip?

I realize the D15 and D17 have already had their initial event, but it will be round # 1 for the D14 guys and the Family Enduro Series.  We are planning a 50-50 drawing.

I look forward to seeing everyone in Indiana this weekend.

we will be there for the Family Series.  Hope it doesn't rain - PW50's don't work well in the mud.

My friend and I ran "C" at Marion, we'll both be there.  Can anyone discuss how this enduro compares to the Marion enduro or the White City, "Big Red" enduro?  I'm not sure what to expect from the organizers and I hope someone might be able to shed some light on it.
Is this more suitable for a 250 or 450 4 stroke?
Thanks,
Jeff

Anyone know if the club at Roselawn will require headlight / taillight, plates, etc?

We are looking forward to the Saturday Family Enduro. I have not ridden in Roselawn since 1989.

I would say Yes as they do use some real roads.

The bikes should look legal for the Sunday event, but I remember signing up last year and do not recall a tech inspection.  You will be on some roads in between the sections - obey the laws and there will be no problems.
Unlike Marion, you will not see the same section of trail twice....except for maybe the log infested grass track/corn field section at the staging area.
I can not comment on a comparison to White City or which bike to ride.  I ride a 450 and the trail sections are tight, but not too tight for a 450.  Not a lot of field racing (like Goshen).  RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG!!!
I will be guy selling 50/50 tickets...two drawings - one Saturday and one on Sunday.

Thanks for the info guys.

Down South, SERA and SETRA events very rarely require the street legal stuff on the bikes and since it's been so long since I done an enduro up North, I couldn't remember if Roselawn had any road sections that would require the extra hardware.

Look forward to seeing ya'll this weekendSmile

Rod, are you bring the KTM semi??  The kids would really LOVE it!!
I am just kidding.  I have had the opportunity to drive ML's rig and it is amazing how it attracts a crowd.
See you at Roselawn.

LOLHAHA, no semi this time but we are in the process of purchasing a Sprinter van for the new Mid West Dealer Support Rep to use when he travels to races, dealer events, demo rides, etc. We hope to have it in operation by next month so when you spot the Orange Sprinter, be sure to stop by and say hello.

Mike you are correct, bikes should look legal.  I haven't posted it up yet but Jeff did say that they would like to see lights mounted on the bikes.  There won't be a tech but looking legal makes everyone happy and keeps the club from getting unwanted visits from the local law.

Rod - I hope to see the ORANGE Sprinter at future Family Enduro Series events.  Ryan has a schedule posted on the website.
Ryan - each year we see some local residents riding their utility vehicles on the road (WITHOUT a helmet - I know the law does not require it) at a high rate of speed.  I would think the local law welcomes the enduro crowd.  We do need to make every effort to keep the neighbors and local law happy to see us.
